Nancy Ajram

Nancy Ajram (نانسي عجرم in Arabic) is a popular Lebanese singer. Nancy was born in Ashrafieh in Lebanon in 1983. Nancy now lives with her family in Newsheila in Lebanon. Nancy made her first debut by appearing on Noujoum Al Fan, the famous Lebanese program presenting new stars in Music, on Future TV, back then, she was 16 years old, when she sang a song by the legendary Egyptian singer, Umm Kalthoum. She ended up winning the contest. Nancy launched her first album, Mehta Galak (I need you), then Sheel Eyounak Anni (Take your eyes away from me), then her next hit, Ya Salam! (How fantastic!). Nancy launched her latest albums for the year 2004, entitled "Ah We Noss". The new album holds 11 new songs. Most of the songs are of a fast rhythm. Nancy has shot the hit song (Ah We Noss) as a video clip. The clip was shot in some farms located in Saida which is south of Lebanon. The location helped the director, Nadine Labaki, in giving the environment and mood of an old Egyptian movie.
