Nadia Petrova

Nadia Petrova (Russian: Надежда Петрова, Nadzhda Petrva; born June 8, 1982, Moscow, Russia) is a professional tennis player from Russia. She turned professional in 1999, a year in which she entered the WTA top 100. She went on to enter the top 50 the next year and ended 2003 in the top 20. On April 19, 2004 she was ranked no. 6 in the world. Petrova has not won a singles titles yet, but she has eleven doubles titles, including the WTA Tour Championships in 2004.
