Munich Conference On Security Policy

The Munich Conference on Security Policy was founded in 1962 by German publisher Ewald von Kleist under the title Wehrkundetagung. Ministers, members of parliament, high-ranking representatives of the armed forces, scientists and representatives of the media are invited to the discussion forum, which focuses on foreign and security policy challenges in European and American relations. Each year, some 250 participants from 40 countries discuss in depth their views on the development of transatlantic relations as well as European and global security.
