(Veterinary Medicine) Mouse mammary tumor virus (MMTV) is a virus that causes breast cancer in mouse Mus domesticus. This virus has been found in human breast tissue and, since the 40s, some researchers claim that it could be linked to human breast cancers. This is still a matter of debate.
