Motzstrae

Motzstrae is a street in Schneberg, Berlin which now runs from Nollendorfplatz via Viktoria-Luise-Platz to Prager Platz. Named after Adolf von Motz a Prussian Finance Minister, it was laid out around 1870. The original section of Motzstrae (North of Nollendorfplatz) has been renamed twice, firstly to Mackensenstrae and in 1996 to Else Lasker-Schler Strae. It is also the center of one of Berlins Gay Areas. 1957 Map showing situation of Motzstrae http://www.alt-berlin.info/cgi/stp/lana.pl?nr=23&gr=7&nord=52.501108&ost=13.352677
