Mothers Against Drunk DrivingMothers Against Drunk Driving, or MADD, is one of America's most popular non-profit organizations. In 1980, a group of women in California came together to voice their outrage at the death of a teenage girl who was killed by a repeat-offender drunk driver. The group included the girl's mother, Candace Lightner. Since the group's inception, more than 2,300 anti-drunk driving laws have been passed. External link
