Most HauntedMost Haunted is a programme based on paranormal activity that is shown on the satellite and cable channels LivingTV and ftn, primarily for the UK market. It is produced and presented by Yvette Fielding. Other familiar faces that appear throughout the several series are the spiritual medium Derek Acorah, with spirit guide 'Sam'. Phil Whyman the paranormal investigator, and in the first series Jason Karl. Recently, after Phil Whyman left the show, Liverpool Hope University parapsychology lecturer Cieran O'Keefe took over this role. The programme is set in over 1,700 supposedly haunted locations across Great Britain, Ireland, and Holland. Each week the show is aired in a different haunted place. Some featured locations have been RAF East Kirby, The Edinburgh vaults, Moresby Hall, and the Clerkenwell House of Detention in London. There have been several live programmes called 'Most Haunted Live'. In one particular memorable episode the spiritualist medium Derek Acorah was posessed by a supossed evil entity. Whether this was in fact a real paranormal event or whether it was acting on Derek's part, the audience could decide. Some might say this makes the show more interesting.
