morro bay state park

Morro Bay State Park is a State Park in San Luis Obispo, California. Morro Bay State Park features lagoon and natural bay habitat. Landmarks include the Nine Sisters, a chain of volcanic peaks, of which Morro Rock in Morro Bay is the most visible example. The park has opportunities for sailing, fishing, hiking, and bird watching. There is also a park museum with exhibits cover natural features and cultural history, Native American life, geology, and oceanography. The park also has a marina and an 18-hole public golf course. On the bays northeast edge is a saltwater marsh that supports a thriving bird population.
