Morgan Library

The Morgan Library is a complex of buildings in New York City (USA) which serve as a museum and scholarly research center. The museum has its origins in the collections of financier Pierpont Morgan (18371913). The Morgan Library is currently closed due to a major expansion project designed by architect Renzo Piano. This work is expected to be completed in 2006, however, the museum does sponsor numerous traveling exhibitions around the country.
