Moneen is a band from Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Formed in 1999 after the dissolution of another band named Perfectly Normal, the original members included Kenny Bridges (vocals and guitar), Chris "Hippy" Hughes (vocals, guitar), Peter Krpan (drums) and Mark Bowser (bass). In 2002 Bowser was replaced by Hippy's cousin Erik Hughes. Moneen released their first two albums on Smallman Records but later signed on to Vagrant Records (although Smallman Records still distributes their records in Canada). Moneen has toured with Brand New, Choke, Alexisonfire, Braid and Senses Fail.
