Montenegro

Prime Minister
of the
Federal Republic of Yugoslavia
. He was leader of the
Socialist People's Party
. He lost presidential elections in Montenegro in October
1997
, and was appointed to be Prime Minister of the Yugoslavia by
Slobodan Milosevic
on
May 18
,
1998
, to replace
Radoje Kontic
. He resigned on
October 9
,
2000
