Mojave Sage

   
Mojave sage (Salvia mohavensis) is a sage common in the Mojave Desert. It is a low rounded shrub that becomes covered with clusters of small blue flowers in the spring. The small, opposite leaves appear nearly gray due to a covering of fine white hairs.
