Minor Term

The minor term in a categorical syllogism is the term in the minor premise (together with the middle term) and in the conclusion (together with the major term). Along with the major term it is one of the two end terms. Example:
Major premise: All P are Q
Minor premise: All Q are S
Conclusion: All P are S
The minor term is bolded above.
