Minimum ChipsMinimum Chips are an Australian indie band formed in Brisbane in the 1990s, and since relocated to Melbourne. Their influences include surf rock and krautrock; perhaps predictably, their sound has been compared with Stereolab (whom they supported on one of their Australian tours). Current Members - Nicole Thibault (formerly of Clag; also of Letraset)
- Julian Patterson (also of Letraset)
- Ian Wadley (also of Bird Blobs)
- Ellen Turner (formerly of Huon)
Guy Blackman of Chapter Music/Sleepy Township played bass in Minimum Chips until departing for Japan, when he was replaced by Ellen. Releases - Blip 7" (Chapter Music, 1996)
- Swish EP (Varispeed, 1997)
- Freckles EP (Trifekta, 2000)
- Portfolio CD (retrospective compilation) (Chapter Music, 2002)
- Gardenesque EP (Trifekta, 2003)
- Sound Asleep EP (Sound Malfunction, 2004)
