mindy burbano

Mindy Burbano is a television entertainment anchor for KTLA-TV. Born and raised in Forest Grove, Oregon, she studied television and film at the University of Oregon, then graduating from the Oregon Health Sciences University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Her first on-air job was as an entertainment reporter for Good Day Oregon at KPTV-TV in Portland, Oregon, then moving on to co-hosting Saginaw, Michigan's popular radio show, Mike and Mindy in the Morning. She then gained fame as a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight, reporting general entertainment news, interviewing celebrities, making on-set visits to movie and television productions, and attending movie premieres and industry events. She moved on to KTLA-TV's News at Ten, providing news and gossip on celebrities in American and abroad. As an interesting side-line to all this, she's one of Oprah Winfrey's "favourite guests" on her show, and has appeared on Live with Regis and Kathy Lee; both appearances were to tout her array of vocal sound effects.
