Millis-Clicquot is a census-designated place and part of the town of Millis in Norfolk County, Massachusetts. As of the 2000 census, it had a total population of 4,607.

Geography

Millis-Clicquot is located at 42°10'9" North, 71°21'19" West (42.169045, -71.355159). According to the United States Census Bureau, Millis-Clicquot has a total area of 8.1 km² (3.1 mi²). 8.1 km² (3.1 mi²) of it is land and 0.1 km² (0.04 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.64% water.

Demographics

As of the census of 2000, there are 4,607 people, 1,860 households, and 1,231 families residing in Millis-Clicquot. The population density is 570.1/km² (1,476.3/mi²). There are 1,891 housing units at an average density of 234.0/km² (606.0/mi²). The racial makeup of Millis-Clicquot is 96.83% White, 1.02% Black or African American, 0.09% Native American, 1.17% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.13% from other races, and 0.76% from two or more races. 0.89% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 1,860 households out of which 34.1% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.0% are married couples living together, 10.6% have a female householder with no husband present, and 33.8% are non-families. 28.5% of all households are made up of individuals and 9.2% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.46 and the average family size is 3.06. In Millis-Clicquot the population is spread out with 25.9% under the age of 18, 4.9% from 18 to 24, 35.7% from 25 to 44, 22.3% from 45 to 64, and 11.3% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 37 years. For every 100 females there are 90.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 86.6 males.
