Milladore, Wisconsin

Milladore is a village in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 268. Most of the village is located within the Town of Milladore in Wood County. A very tiny portion of the village lies in Portage County, Wisconsin.

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.6 km² (1.0 mi²). None of the area is covered with water.

Demographics

As of the census of 2000, there are 268,000 people, 102,000 households, and 70,000 families residing in the village. The population density is 103.5/km² (267.6/mi²). There are 108 housing units at an average density of 41.7/km² (107.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 98.88% White, 0.00% Black or African American, 0.37% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.75% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 102 households out of which 29.4% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.9% are married couples living together, 6.9% have a female householder with no husband present, and 30.4% are non-families. 23.5% of all households are made up of individuals and 11.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.63 and the average family size is 3.13. In the village the population is spread out with 22.8% under the age of 18, 14.2% from 18 to 24, 27.2% from 25 to 44, 19.4% from 45 to 64, and 16.4% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 36 years. For every 100 females there are 114.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 113.4 males. The median income for a household in the village is $46,458, and the median income for a family is $56,500. Males have a median income of $34,750 versus $16,786 for females. The per capita income for the village is $19,235. 4.1% of the population and 1.5% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total population, 6.8% of those under the age of 18 and 7.9% of those 65 and older are living below the poverty line.
