mikkola, ontario

Mikkola is a community in the Ontario city of Greater Sudbury. For postal delivery and telephone exchange purposes, addresses in the community are considered to be part of Lively, although residents of the area usually consider Lively and Mikkola to be distinct communities. From 1973 to 2000, Mikkola was part of the town of Walden, in the Regional Municipality of Sudbury. On January 1, 2001, the Regional Municipality was dissolved into the single-tier City of Greater Sudbury.
