Mike Marsh (English Footballer)

Mike Marsh (born 21st July 1969) was a footballer who came through the ranks at Liverpool and was part of their 1992 FA Cup-winning side. A midfield player or full back, he never fully established himself at Anfield and joined West Ham United and then Coventry City. The manager who let him leave Liverpool, Graeme Souness, then took him to Galatasaray. Marsh's career ended prematurely while playing in the lower divisions with Southend United when he suffered a knee injury. As part of his insurance deal, he was required not to play professional football again, so he spent the remainder of his playing days in the non-league game. He played for both Kidderminster Harriers and Boston United in their respective Football Conference title-winning seasons. Marsh, Mike
