Mike M. Liskany

Mike M. Liskany (died 1971) was an American labor leader and politician of the Democratic party. Liskany served as a city commissioner of Dayton, Ohio, from 1968 to 1971. When Republican Mayor Dave Hall announced his retirement for health reasons, Liskany expressed his wish to succeed Hall. However, Liskany decided not to contest the mayorship so that James McGee could become the first African American mayor of the city. Liskany, Mike M.
