Mike Campbell-lamerton

Mike Campbell-Lamerton (1934 - March 18, 2005) was a second-row forward, who played his club rugby for Blackheath Rugby Club, Halifax, London Scottish and the Army. He won 23 caps for Scotland between 1961 and 1966, captaining his country on two occasions, against Wales and Ireland in 1965. He also captained the British Lions on their tour of Australia, New Zealand and Canada in 1966. In his military service he was a colonel in the Duke of Wellingtons regiment. At the end of his Army career he took up the post of bursar at Balliol College in Oxford. Three of Campbell-Lamertons four children, Jeremy, Michael and Ian, went on to play rugby for London Scottish, Jeremy winning three Scotland caps in 1986 and 1987.
