Middle Helladic

The early history of Greece is commonly divided into three periods: Early Helladic (c.2800 - 2000 B.C.), Middle Helladic (c.2000 - 1500 B.C.), and Late Helladic (c.1500 - 1100 B.C.). The Middle Helladic begins with the wide-scale settlement in Greece of an Indo-European language speaking people known as the Minyans. The Middle Helladic period corresponds to the Middle Kingdom of Egypt.
