michael jayston

Michael Jayston (born 29th October, 1935 in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire) is a British actor. He was a classical stage actor before going on to become well known on British television. He was once considered for the part of James Bond. Jayston played the role of The Valeyard in the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who. In the serial The Ultimate Foe, the Valeyard is revealed to an evil version of The Doctor himself. He laster reprised the part of the Valeyard in one of the audio plays by Big Finish Productions in the Doctor Who Unbound series - He Jests at Scars...
