Michael Colvin

Michael Keith Beale Colvin (1932-2000) was a politician in the United Kingdom. He was first elected as a Conservative Party member of Parliament in 1979 to a seat in Bristol. From 1983 onwards he was the member for the seat of Romsey and Waterside in Hampshire, which later became the seat of Romsey. He held the seat in 1997, but died in a fire at his house three years later. The by-election was won by Sandra Gidley of the Liberal Democrats.
