Michael Anderson

• Michael P. Anderson was an astronaut aboard the Space Shuttle Columbia during mission STS-107. He was killed along with his six crew-members during the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster in 2003.

• Michael J. Anderson is an actor who has appeared in a large number of roles, including several David Lynch movies. He suffers from dwarfism and a bone condition that made him unable to walk for most of his life.

• Michael Anderson is a film director, born in 1920, who first developed his career in British films, becoming a director in 1949, and making his mark with the war movie The Dam Busters (1954). He went on to direct an adaptation of Orwell's 1984 (1956), Around the World in 80 Days (1956), and settled in Hollywood making such sci-fi offerings as (1975) and Logan's Run (1976). His son, Michael Anderson, Jr., is an actor who appeared in Logan's Run.
