Metal Madness

Metal Madness was the improved form of Metal Sonic in the video game Sonic Heroes. Metal madness resembled Metal Sonic slightly, with the same blue coloring. Metal madness had two eyes on top of each other. It also had a right hand converted into a flamethrower and its left was converted into a missile shooter. It could also project its spines at enemies. Team Rose defeated a third of Metal Madness, Team Chaotix another third, and Team Dark finished it off. It eventually sprouted wings and became known as Metal Overlord. It is believed that the term 'Metal Madness' is a homage to Metal Sonic's first game, Sonic CD's, final stage 'Metallic Madness'.
