Metabonomics

Metabonomics involves the study of all metabolites excreted (generally) in a species or (specifically) in an individual organism. Metabonomics may one day further the discipline of nutrition by providing a basis for individually-customized diets. It may also help physicians to predict metabolic disease before symptoms arise.
