Mengham

Mengham is the largest settlement on Hayling Island in Hampshire, England. It is the largest shopping area on the Island, and has two schools and a Library. There is an old Church, St.Mary's toward the northern edge of the settlement. There is said to be a 'grave' in St Mary's churchyard which is infact an entrance to a tunnel. This tunnel allegedly goes down to the shore and in past times smugglers used it to bring contraband items into the mainland.
