Melodic Black MetalMelodic Black Metal is Black Metal with more keyboards and orchestral pieces than long guitar solos. It may also have more lyrics. Two prominent modern examples of melodic black metal bands are Cradle of Filth and Dimmu Borgir. Melodic black metal often can be confused with Norweigian Gothic Metal and there are some bands that are classified as both (Cradle of Filth or Summoning for instance).
