Mcpherson Square (Washington Metro)

McPherson Square is a Washington Metro station in Washington, DC on the Blue and Orange Lines. The station serves downtown Washington, between McPherson Square and Franklin Square with two entrances on I Street at Vermont Avenue and 14th Street, Northwest. This is the main station to access The White House. Service began on July 1, 1977. The Vermont Avenue exit is directly underneath the Central Office of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, a major government agency.
