Mazin

Mazin, is a common Arabic masculine name which literally means "drizzly clouds". The name was carried by one of the major tribes of Arabia (Banu Mazin), who existed during the pre-Islamic era and continued to be used by people after Islam. It is most commonly used in the Fertile Levant area (Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine and Jordan). There are many famous people carrying this name today, such as Mazin Al Hachim (A famous Iraqi Architect), ِAbu Mazin (Aka: Mahmoud Abbas, a PLO leader), etc.
