Max RayneMax Rayne is the name of a student halls of residence belonging to University College London. Built around the 1960's and situated in Camdem Town, North London, UK, Max Rayne is capable of housing around 400 students and has housed students ranging from ages 18 - 45 of all international backgrounds. Max Rayne is notable for one of the strangest accomodation charges of any university halls of residence, whereby tenants are charged per week according to whether their room is single or double, but also on which floor a tenant's room is situated, which side of the building a tenant's room faces, the length of a tenant's course of study, the social status of the course being studied, a tenant's income, and a tenant's nationality. It is not yet known how the halls of residence received its name.
