Max Keith

Max Keith was the head of Coca-Cola GmbH, which was the major bottler of Coca-Cola under The Third Reich. He invented Fanta in reaction to the unavailability of Coca-Cola syrup or the ingredients necessary to make it duing World War II. Investigations of Max Keith done by Coca Cola after the war found Keith did not join the Nazi party despite pressure to do so and that instead of taking the profits from the production of Fanta, he turned them over to Coca Cola after the war.
