Max Gerson

Max Gerson 1881-1959 was the founder of Gerson therapy, an alternative anti-cancer treatment based on coffee enemas and an intensive diet of fruit and vegetable juices to encourage detoxification. He considered that cancer and other modern western illnesses such as arthritis and diabetes were caused by toxic food, water, and air.
