Matt WagnerMatt Wagner, born 1961, is an American comics writer and artist best known as the creator of two irregular series, Mage and Grendel. He has also worked on the Demon, Batman, Sandman Mystery Theatre, and most recently Trinity, a miniseries featuring Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, for DC Comics, as well as painting covers for Green Arrow.
