, Maryhill was incorporated into Glasgow in
1912

Partick Thistle Football Club

Maryhill Harriers Running Club
. Maryhill is home to the Maryhill Barracks, which famously held
Hitler's
second-in-command Rudolph Hess during
World War Two
after his proposed "Peace" flight to the U.K. The Barracks has now been converted into the Wyndford housing estate.
