Martin WillisonMartin Willison was the Green Party candidate in the riding of Halifax West, Nova Scotia, during the Canadian Federal elections on June 28, 2004 in which the party won a record 4.31% of the popular vote with 580,816 Green votes cast, but won no seats. He is employed at Dalhousie University as a professor of biology and environmental studies. He has been a long-time environmental advocate, having won several national and international awards for his work in marine conservation.
