Maro

In Greek mythology, Maro raised Dionysus when he was an infant. Later, he became a priest of Apollo. In English Renaissance literature, the Roman poet Virgil is sometimes refered to as Maro. Maro (Also MaRo) is also the nickname for longtime card designer Mark Rosewater. The truncated version of his name is both a card and a common shorthand around the Magic playing community.
