Market Deeping

Market Deeping is a town in Lincolnshire, England, lying on the River Welland and the A15 road. It is the largest of The Deepings and its eponymous market has been held since at least 1220. The town is known for its stone buildings dating back to the seventeenth century, its largely fifteenth century church dedicated to Saint Guthlac, and the remains of a market cross. Notable people from the town include Charles Hardwicke.
