Mark Ballard

Mark Ballard, born June 27, 1971 is a Green Member of the Scottish Parliament. First elected in 2003, as the second Green MSP in the Lothians, he is currently a member of the Scottish Parliament Procedures Committee as well as co-convenor of the Cross-Party Group on the Scottish Economy. Mr Ballard is very active in community campaigning in the Lothian region, having supported campaigns to keep Craigroyston High School in its community, working to help the Portobello community resist a huge superstore development and campaigning for better public transport and public transport funding in the Lothian region, as well as his parliamentary interests. He is a graduate of Edinburgh University.
