Marie-jos Nat

Marie-Jos Nat (born June 22, 1940) is a French film and television actress. Born Mary-Jos Benhalassa in Bonifacio, Corsica, France. She was married to film director Michel Drach, and starred in his 1974 film Les violons du bal, concerning his childhood experiences during World War II.

Awards

She was awarded Best Actress at Cannes Film Festival for her performance, and the film was nominated for the Golden Palm award. She currently divides her time between Paris and Bonifacio, a small town in Corsica where, as the most prominent resident, she is known as the "queen of the town." Nat, Marie-Jos
