Maria Teresa Fumarola Ligorio

Maria Teresa Fumarola Ligorio (December 2, 1889 - May 14, 2003) was the first resident of Italy to reach the verified age of 113, and is still the national longevity recordholder. Born in San Marzano de Giuseppe Puglia, she married Donato Ligorio and had ten children. She died in Fragagnano, a small town near Taranto.
