Maltese Battleships

This is a list of Maltese battleships: Malta was a small but constantly-involved naval power from about 1500 until 1798, when Napoleon I of France landed there on his way to conquer Egypt and captured the entire remaining Maltese navy. Some of these ships were later captured by the British when they recaptured Malta in 1800, and Malta remained under British control until after World War II.
