Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha

The Maharashtra state assembly — the Vidhan Sabha is the bicameral legislature of the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is situated in the Nariman Point area of South Mumbai in the capital Mumbai. Members of the Legislative assembly are directly elected by the people. The upper house the Legislative council are indirectly elected through an electoral college. The budget session and the monsoon session are convened in Bombay whereas the winter session is convened in the auxiliary capital Nagpur.
