Madison (Dance)

The Madison is a novelty dance popular in France in the early to mid 1960s. It is famously featured in the Jean-Luc Godard film Bande part. It is also humorously mentioned in the 1975 Jim Sharman/Richard O'Brien film The Rocky Horror Picture Show, after the Time Warp, that movie's famous dance, is finished.
