M A Hannan

M. A. Hannan (Abdul Hannan) was the first person, who read over radio the text declaration of independence written by the great leader of the then East Pakistan and Chief of Awami League Bangabandhu Seikh Mujibur Rahman from the Kalurghat Betar Kendra, Chittagong on March 26, 1971. The M. A. Hannan International Airport (renamed into Amanat Shah International Airport) in Chittagong was named after him.
