Lyons Of AntiguaThe family of Lyons has long been associated with the Island of Antigua, from as early as the late 1600's, shortly after the settlement of the island. It was John Lyons (1760-1816) who returned to England with his wife, Catherine (ne Walrond) and had a quite substantially sized family, namely: Jane Lyons 1785-1803 Eliza Lyons 1786-1786 John Lyons 1787-1872 Theodore Lyons 1788-1825 Henry Lyons 1789-1807 Edmund Lyons 1790-1858 Anne Lyons 1792-1816 Catherine Lyons 1794-1857 William 1795-1795 George Rose Lyons 1796- William Mills Lyons 1797-1881 Maine Walrond Lyons 1799-1827 Caroline Lyons 1800-1879 Humphrey Lyons 1802-1873 Charles Bethel Lyons 1803-1865 John married secondly, Elizabeth Williams and had the following children: Samuel Athill Lyons 1805-1881 Frances Walrond Lyons 1806-1884 Edward Robbins Lyons 1809-1849
