Lynne Yelich

Lynne Yelich (nee Zdunich) (born March 24, 1953) is a third-generation Croatian-Canadian politician and the MP for the riding of Blackstrap. Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, she was the Executive Assistant for former MP, Allan Kerpan. She was first elected as a Canadian Alliance candidate in the 2000 election. She was re-elected in 2004 as a Conservative candidate. She was critic for Grain Transportation (2002-2004) and Cities (2003-2004). She is currently critic of Status of Women and Families and Caregivers. In 1972 she married Matthew Yelich. They have two daughters, Elaina and Ivana.
