Luaka Bop

Luaka Bop is the world music label established by David Byrne, former guitarist and songwriter for the punk rock/new wave band Talking Heads. The label was started in the late 1980s; in addition to Byrne's solo records, the label puts out albums by Los Amigos Invisibles, Los de Abajo, Shoukichi Kina, Tom Z, Os Mutantes, Zap Mama, and Cornershop, among others.
