Love's Labour's Lost (2000 Movie)

The 2000 movie Love's Labour's Lost is an adaptation of the play of the same name by William Shakespeare as a romantic Hollywood musical starring Shakespearean veteran Kenneth Branagh, Alicia Silverstone, and Nathan Lane. It sets the tale in the (then-fictional) country of Navarre in 1939, and develops a 1930s mood by frequent use of classic Broadway songs of that era and newsreel-style footage between scenes.
